Ingredients
- 1 cup Corn, frozen
- 1 to 2 tbsp Badia Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ¾ cup Red and Green Sweet Pepper, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup Celery, thickly sliced
- 3/4 cup uncooked Long Grain White Rice
- 1 tbsp Badia Minced Garlic in Olive Oil
- 2 cups Badia Beef Flavor Bouillon
- 1 cup cubed cooked Ham
- 1 cup Peas, frozen
- 1/4 tsp Badia Saffron
- 1 tsp Badia Ham Flavored Seasoning
- 2 tbsp flat-leaf Italian Parsley, chopped fresh
Directions
- In a large skillet add the 1 tbsp of Badia Extra Virgin Olive Oil sauté the peppers, onion, and celery. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add rice, garlic, and Badia Ham Flavored Seasoning; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
- Remove skillet from the heat and carefully stir in the Badia Beef Flavor Bouillon and ham. Bring to boiling; reduce heat to low.
- Simmer covered for 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Add the peas and corn, cook uncovered 2 minutes more, then add Badia Saffron.
- Remove from the heat and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Tip: Add some drops of our Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce for a twist of heat!
